2-hour workshop that guides you on how trauma is stored in the body and how to release them through somatic exercises.

Workshop Summary

Everyone has experienced trauma to a certain degree. In fact, life itself can be traumatising. Unhealed trauma can also get passed down from one generation to the next, but so does resilience.

In this workshop, you will learn:
1) Simple grounding technique to bring your awareness to the present moment.
2) How trauma is stored in the body and affect the way you behave, think and perceive the world.
3) Two practical embodiment exercises using movement and the breath that you can add to your daily routine to release stored trauma and stuck emotions in the body. Any time that you are feeling overwhelmed, you can go back to these tools to help regulate your emotions in difficult situations.
4) A journalling exercise to get more in touch with your emotions and how to turn what you're feeling into nourishing actions.

Nathasya O.M

Nathasya (She/Her) is a trauma survivor, Trauma-trained Somatic Practitioner & Coach, Breathwork teacher, the founder of AKKU Holistic Health, and the host of 'Resilient Chat with Nat' Podcast.

She guides people to release stress and trauma from the body, and expand their nervous system's capacity to deal with stress, activation, as well as deeper states of relaxation. She specializes in sexual trauma, developmental trauma, chronic illness, and grief/loss.

Her mission is to help others break the cycle of abuse and trauma.

Through her embodied work, she has helped men & womxn around the world to heal from different psychosomatic symptoms such as chronic illnesses, chronic pain, tumor, anxiety, hormonal imbalance, eczema, burnout, joint pain, as well as to have stronger relationships with themselves & others.

She is an Indonesian with an international background. After being born in Indonesia & partly raised there, she lived in Angola, U.S, U.K, and Spain. Being immersed in different cultures have allowed her to truly open her eyes, mind, and heart, and became curious about human beings and the ways of how humans interact, evolve & heal. From her own journey of surviving sexual assault, physical, emotional, and narcissistic abuse, she is passionate about helping others on their own journey.

When Nathasya is not holding sessions, teaching, or leading workshops, you can find her cuddling with her cat, singing while playing her piano or guitar, dancing, or doing her personal embodiment and spiritual practice.
