Everyone has experienced trauma to a certain degree. In fact, life itself can be traumatising. Unhealed trauma can also get passed down from one generation to the next, but so does resilience.
In this workshop, you will learn:
1) Simple grounding technique to bring your awareness to the present moment.
2) How trauma is stored in the body and affect the way you behave, think and perceive the world.
3) Two practical embodiment exercises using movement and the breath that you can add to your daily routine to release stored trauma and stuck emotions in the body. Any time that you are feeling overwhelmed, you can go back to these tools to help regulate your emotions in difficult situations.
4) A journalling exercise to get more in touch with your emotions and how to turn what you're feeling into nourishing actions.
